Rotation/Shifts

Days and evenings, including weekends, 4, 5, 6 or 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Baccalaureate of Science or Nutrition related discipline from a University of recognized standing;
  • Completed post graduate Dietetic Internship or integrated training recognized by Dietitians of Canada;
  • Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario;
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology;
  • Excellent knowledge of therapeutic nutrition and education techniques;
  • Ability to supervise/lead/coach/mentor;
  • Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Sound judgement and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a multi-disciplinary/inter-professional setting;
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Member of Dietitians of Canada;
  • Experience with nutrition support (enteral and parenteral);
  • Experience conducting Subjective global assessment;
  • Experience with multidisciplinary team approach, program development and education of health team members;
  • Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
