Position Summary

We are looking for a Sales Senior Financial Analyst based at our Brampton office reporting into the Customer Sales Finance Manager. This position provides analytical support to the Sales Finance team and the Key Account Managers.

A day in the life of a Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Provide insight and analysis on Sales (NPS), Trade Spend (TTS) and Customer Contribution Statements (CCS) by leveraging PowerBI dashboards, Sales and Trade Planning systems and other data.
  • Monitor and present relevant KPI’s to Customer Development teams towards target achievement
  • Review Trade accruals in the context of Pricing and Promotion guidelines, Accounting Standards, and Nestle Terms and Conditions
  • Analyse the impact of customer-specific promotional activity to provide guidance to Key Account Managers (KAM) on incremental profitable growth. Support KAMs on Promotion Pre / Post Analysis process
  • Identify risks and opportunities in sales and trade spend plans towards target achievement
  • Provide regular support and guidance to Trade Analysts including customer post audits and deductions
  • Provide regular support to Customer Service regarding pricing discrepancies, and work with Shared Services teams on resolution of Order to Cash topics.

What will make you successful?

  • Completion of University Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar.
  • Working towards a designation is highly valued (CPA, CFA, MBA).
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or comparable role.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerBI skills, with an interest in RPA, Machine Learning, AI tools
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation of financial information to non-financial users
  • A self-starter, with strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to manage through influence and collaboration.
