The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our growing Consulting team! As a Scrum Master,you will lead and coach one or more Agile delivery teams. This role is central to our sprint execution discipline: you will own Scrum ceremonies, produce clear and insightful sprint reports, protect team velocity, and continuously improve delivery practices across the Managed Analytics program.
The ideal candidate is a servant-leader who lives and breathes the Agile Manifesto, thrives in complex program environments, and can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. Bonus points if you bring experience in regulated industries (utilities, energy), Azure DevOps (ADO), or the ability to build autonomous AI agents to accelerate team productivity.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Demonstrable mastery of all Scrum ceremonies.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality sprint reports for both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong command of Agile metrics: velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput, escaped defects.
- Experience coaching Product Owners on backlog management, story writing, and prioritization.
- Track record of facilitating productive retrospectives with measurable improvement outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project plans and ensure projects remain on track.
- Apply consistent project management standards and quality assurance to ensure that deliverables are high-quality.
- Create and maintain risk and issue logs.
- Manage internal project resources, assign roles and delegate responsibilities.
- Create and maintain project budgets and financials.
- Develop document deliverables, including presentations, procurement documents, and consulting reports.
- Manage change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budgets.
- Undergraduate degree/diploma, Business, Engineering, Computer Science background is an asset
- 3+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience on active software delivery teams
- Utility experience is an asset
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or II) is an asset
- Valid passport and ability to travel within the United States and Canada. Up to 70% travel required.
- Proficiency in at least one Agile project management platform (Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for sprint reporting
- Experience with virtual facilitation tools (Miro, MURAL, Microsoft Whiteboard, Confluence)
- Ability to design and maintain dashboards and metrics views in collaboration tools
- Strong understanding of IT principles, including lifecycle planning, estimating, and architecture
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management best practices and standards
- Strong knowledge of project metrics and performance measurement
- Working knowledge of the procurement lifecycle
- Working knowledge of system integration activities, including business process development, system integration, and software testing
- Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum values, and continuous improvement mindset
- Knowledge of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) is an asset
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar scripting languages is an asset
- Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM capabilities to design effective agent behaviors is an asset
- Proven learning agility with a track record of independently acquiring new technical skills, particularly in AI and automation
- Exceptional facilitation and communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution and mediation capabilities
- Configure and manage ADO boards
- Create and maintain ADO queries, dashboards, and sprint burndown views
- Set up team-level capacity planning in ADO for sprint planning ceremonies
- Manage work item hierarchies: Epics → Features → PBIs → Tasks
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
