About the team + role
Our mission at Finance Systems Engineering is to drive operational excellence by delivering innovative, AI-powered, scalable, and efficient business applications that enable timely and accurate financial reporting while ensuring precise oversight of expenditures and revenue. We use AI to automate manual processes, improves system scalability, and encourages seamless new entity rollouts, mergers, acquisitions, and integration innovations, resulting in streamlined workflows and optimized performance. By partnering with team members such as Corporate Accounting, Procurement, Tax, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, Finance & Strategy, and SOX Compliance, we provide data-driven insights that empower informed decision-making and ensure sustained financial success across the organization.

What You’ll Do
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.

What You’ll Do
- Design and integrate AI-powered features into enterprise financial applications to automate processes, enhance system scalability, and improve efficiency in financial reporting and oversight.
- Partner with stakeholders such as Corporate Accounting, Procurement, Tax, and Financial Reporting teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions that empower informed decision-making and operational excellence.
- Leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to streamline workflows, support seamless entity rollouts, mergers, and acquisitions, and ensure robust, scalable system architectures.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, accuracy, and compliance in financial systems while implementing advanced analytics for enhanced insights and decision-making.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions within enterprise applications, with a strong understanding of financial systems, workflows, and cloud technologies.
- Exceptional analytical skills to address complex challenges, optimize processes, and develop scalable, future-ready solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring seamless implementation.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies in AI and enterprise applications.
