We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Manager, CMS Platform to lead the team responsible for the evolution, delivery, and support of our enterprise Content Management System (CMS). This team builds and maintains front-end components that integrate seamlessly with our CMS, enabling modern and accessible digital experiences across our web properties.
You will play a pivotal role in aligning the team’s delivery with enterprise goals, ensuring platform stability, enabling scalable content and design systems, and supporting business stakeholders and content teams. Responsibilities
Leadership & Delivery Management
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of developers focused on our CMS-platform delivery.
- Support the definition and execution of the enterprise CMS roadmap in alignment with business priorities and digital experience strategies.
- Manage work intake, planning, and delivery—balancing enhancements, support, and modernization initiatives in coordination with business and project PMs.
- Drive a collaborative, accountable culture built on continuous improvement, coaching, and clear expectations.
- Own the CMS platform lifecycle, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Ensure front-end components and templates follow accessibility, performance, and brand standards.
- Champion the development and maintenance of shared frameworks, design systems, and reusable components.
- Partner with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform compliance and operational excellence.
- Serve as a key point of contact for UI/UX and content teams, enabling smooth integration of design and content into the platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across marketing, digital experience, and product teams to shape priorities and manage expectations.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical outcomes, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
- Maintain and evolve operational processes including release management, incident response, and performance monitoring.
- Oversee platform documentation and support SLAs, ensuring clarity, accountability, and knowledge transfer across teams.
- Track delivery metrics and identify opportunities for process and cost optimization.
- Ensure CMS integrations and front-end components meet governance, compliance, and accessibility standards.
Must Have
- 8+ years of experience in software or platform development, with a strong focus on front-end and web technologies.
- 4+ years in people leadership roles, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
- Experience owning and evolving a CMS platform or working in a CMS-heavy environment (e.g., Adobe AEM, dotCMS, Kentico, etc.).
- Proven success in backlog prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in enterprise-scale front-end systems, component libraries, or design system integration.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, SEO optimization, and web analytics tooling.
- Experience working with UI/UX design teams and content strategists.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices related to front-end and CMS environments.
- Exposure to digital governance and compliance practices in regulated industries.
- Lead a critical platform team shaping digital experiences across our organization.
- Partner with passionate designers, content creators, and business leaders.
