Senior Program Manager

We're looking for a Senior Program Manager candidate with experience in managing complex software development projects to join our team in Toronto, Canada ( hybrid).

You will report to the Director Project Management

You will track and manage cross-functional product initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives..

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
  • Track and manage cross-functional product initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Proactively support the team by identifying and removing blockers & impediments, setting a positive example for others to follow.
  • Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring projects/releases are well-defined, efficiently managed, and delivered with high quality.
  • Collaborate with R&D managers to assist in release planning and prioritization of features and enhancements.
  • Provide strategic direction to the team, promoting the adoption of Agile practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Elevate our project management methodologies by leveraging your expertise in Agile development practices and industry best practices.
  • Ensure consistent use and implementation of Informatica's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology across all projects.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to assess the technical complexity of proposed features, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Keep the management team informed on the status, roadblocks, and risks associated with programs/releases, and provide timely updates as needed.
  • Define, manage, and maintain dashboards to track project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your Agile knowledge, technical expertise, and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
Role Essentials
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant program management experience in a software development organization.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence wiki.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies in the context of enterprise-level application development projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including knowledge of cloud services like compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless computing.
  • Understanding of architectural principles underlying SaaS applications, including multi-tenancy, scalability, security, and data privacy.
  • Awareness of security best practices and compliance requirements relevant to SaaS products, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
  • Experience collaborating with remote and global teams.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
