Software Marketing Specialist - Hybrid

Reporting to the Manager of Market Development, Software & IT, you will have the opportunity to manage our Software products' entire Product Life Cycle. Your expertise in software marketing strategies will play a crucial role in launching and positioning our products competitively in the market. With your knowledge of Adobe Suite and marketing automation tools, you will develop compelling marketing content, analyze data, and provide training to our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and evaluating strategic marketing programs for the software portfolio
  • Developing and delivering “train the trainer” materials to technical pre-sales staff
  • Maintaining consistent contact with various sales channels
    Planning and developing software-related customer events (virtual and in-person)
  • Developing, delivering, and maintaining high-impact communication pieces regarding the software portfolio
  • Supporting sales representatives and vendors by responding to inquiries
  • Partnering and liaising with Software Vendors and Canon Group Company counterparts to support business development, training, product launches and marketing initiatives
  • Monitoring, assessing, and evaluating sales performance indicators
  • Creating and maintaining website content related to the software marketing portfolio

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience in Product Marketing or Software, SaaS products
  • Strong project and process management skills to lead projects across various business units
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Excellent analytical skills to generate reports and analyze data to provide recommendations to management
  • Experience with Excel (Vlookups, Pivots, formulas) and Adobe Creative Suite to create promotion collateral
  • Experience in breaking down technical solutions into simple terms for customers and other business units
  • Experience in hosting and delivering online and in-person events (i.e. Product Launches, Training, etc.)
  • French is considered an asset
