About the job:
- Develop insights and thought leadership through in-depth study and analysis, participating in industrial and academic events and forums, as well as internal technology and strategy discussions.
- As a key individual contributor, you are responsible for exploring and defining the technology landscape, trends and frontiers that will have significant impact to the industry and Huawei’s business in mid-term and long-term.
- Drive technology strategy and technology development charters to contribute to company’s technology competitiveness and readiness in the future.
- Develop research directions and topics to advance state of art knowledge and insights on subject matters.
Job requirements
About the ideal candidate:
- 10+ years of experience with strong technology curiosity.
- A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in studying state-of-the-art research work and developing new ideas.
- Deep knowledge of high performance AI computing microarchitecture, domain-specific acceleration, computer system architecture, parallel/multithreaded processing methods, high-performance computing, future data center infrastructure, data science and engineering.
- Driven, passion for technology and innovation, self-starter.
