Semester 1: TMJ2O - Manufacturing Technology, Grade 10, open, TMJ3CT/4CT -Grade 11 and 12 Manufacturing Technology - Dual Credit, and TAS1O -Grade 9 Technology and the Skilled Trades
Semester 2: TCJ2O - Construction Technology, Grade 10, open, TTJ3O - Grade 11, open, Transportation Technology, and TCJ3C/4C - Construction Engineering Technology, Grade 11 and 12, College
Qualifications
Valid Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification, in good standing, and qualifications for the position as warranted.
Completed four semesters of teacher education coursework in an acceptable teacher education program; and
proof of competence and five years of work experience in the area of tech studies corresponding to the teacher education program completed.
A combination of work experience and postsecondary education. Any combination must include at least two years of work experience with continuous employment of no less than four months.
Demonstrated regular attendance at work.
Applications MUST include a resume outlining qualifications, experience and an up-to-date Certificate of Qualification. Applicants must also submit the names of three (3) professional references, one of whom must be a current or most recent immediate supervisor, along with telephone numbers and email addresses, and a written authorization from the applicant permitting the Board to contact these references. Information from such persons will be gathered in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
