1.0 FTE (Term) Online Learning Teacher - PHE 10 and Humanities, Elev8 DESK - #226901

Elev8 DESK is looking for a 1.0 FTE (term) PHE 10 and Humanities teacher from June 8 - 26, 2026 or until the return of the incumbent, whichever is sooner.

Experience Teaching Using The D2L/Brightspace Platform Is Required.

A knowledge of senior high humanities courses is required.

Online Courses include,

• Career Life Connections
• Career Life Education
• English Studies 12
• Explorations in Social Studies 11
• Law Studies 12
  
  

Paper based Humanities courses based out of Creston. If working remotely outside of the Creston region, paper based work will be uploaded and sent to the successful teacher for evaluation.

Salary Range; $68,589 - $114,833 per year, in accordance with the current SD8–Kootenay Lake / KLTF Collective Agreement. Placement on the salary grid is based on qualifications and years of teaching experience as evaluated by the BC Teacher Qualification Service (TQS).

Job Description & Requirements
