Are You

  • Someone with expertise in digital tools, platforms, and analytics including proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and web technologies?
  • An analytical thinker, with demonstrated success in monitoring performance metrics, identifying trends, and making data-informed decisions to improve digital strategies?

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will ensure Element’s digital channels effectively support business goals while delivering an exceptional user experience. This critical role maintains and optimizes the corporate website, intranet, and app content while upholding brand standards, improving SEO rankings, and enhancing engagement across all digital platforms.

A Day in the Life

Digital Channel Maintenance

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, creative, automation and IT, to implement digital channel strategy.
  • Maintain and update the corporate website, corporate intranet, and content used by client-facing apps
  • Consistently follow Q/A best practice to ensure digital channels are error free, functioning as expected, and align with brand standards

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Proactively research SEO keywords using Semrush and other tools to identify opportunities for improved search engine placement
  • Collaborate with the content team, highlight opportunities to refine and optimize content for search, and make associated content updates
  • Continuously scan digital channels for broken links, toxic backlinks, errors, and content issues

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Gather data and generate reports that provide key metrics on digital channels and search performance
  • Analyze data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

Quality Assurance and Optimization

  • Monitor the website, application pages and intranet for errors and implement solutions to enhance user experience and functionality
  • Identify opportunities for content and design improvements to drive traffic and engagement

Innovation

  • Stay informed about digital marketing trends, SEO best practices, and new technologies
  • Make recommendations to enhance our digital marketing, staying curious and competitive

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, website management, or a related field
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Semrush and analytics platforms like Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms (Contentful preferred) with knowledge of HTML/CSS, and basic image editing
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in digital tools, platforms, and analytics is essential, including proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and web technologies
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure all digital content is accurate, consistent, and aligns with brand standards
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions to improve digital strategies
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve digital goals
  • Adaptability: Flexible and proactive in responding to technological advancements and changing market conditions
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to align digital initiatives with overarching business objectives while balancing short-term needs and long-term growth

The hiring base salary range for this position is $62,600 - $86,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
