Description

The Village of Sandalwood Park located in Brampton , Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Hair Stylist to join their team.

We are seeking a qualified independent contractor to operate within our on-site hair salon. The successful candidate must possess their own business insurances and a valid hairdressing license (a Certificate of Qualification in Hairstyling or equivalent recognized by Skilled Trades Ontario)

Shift Details: Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm

As Our New Hair Stylist, You Will

  • Provide cutting, shampooing, coloring and other hair care services including but not limited to highlights, balayage, relaxers, perms, styling, etc.
  • Provide consultations and home care recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure appointments are on schedule.
  • Carry a valid and up to date license in hairdressing.
  • Hold own insurance.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.

It Would Be An Asset If You Have

  • Experience working with seniors and/or in the Health Care Service field
