PURPOSE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst (BA) with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (BC & CRM) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that the D365 platform supports the strategic goals and operational needs of the organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

 

•             Lead discovery sessions and strategic workshops to define current-state business processes and identify areas for optimization and automation.

•             Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for Dynamics 365 applications.

•             Work closely with developers, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful deployment and optimization of D365 BC and CRM solutions.

•             Ensure proposed solutions align with best practices and D365 platform capabilities.

•             Understanding data integration, APIs, and middleware related to D365.

•             Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing data structures and map them to the target D365 schema.

•             Ability to assess the impact of change and provide viable solutions to complex issues with minimal supervision.

•             Participate in the testing and defect resolution process and deployment activities.

•             Assist in developing training materials and user guides.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

•             Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with specific experience in D365 Business Central and CRM.

•             Proven track record of at least 2 successful BC and CRM implementations.

•             Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC and CRM modules.

•             Experience of APIs/web services, connectors between BC, CRM, and external systems (e.g., e-commerce, shipping, banking, compliance system) etc.

•             Working knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) to support reporting and automation.

•             Experience with data import/export tools, such as Excel integration, RapidStart, configuration packages, or Power Query.

•             Assist in system configuration within D365 BC and CRM.

Communicate effectively with vendors, solution providers, and development extensions outside Quebec. Project success and company reputation depend on proficient English communication. Manage email correspondence with vendors, partners, and team members outside Quebec, emphasizing the importance of accurate written English for documentation
