We are seeking an Territory Sales Representative for the Sudbury area to join our team! You will prepare and offer Power Product Solutions to help customers resolve their business problems.
About Toshont Power Products
- Toshont Power Products, established in 1993, is a Canadian distributor of Toshiba Industrial Electrical Products. This includes low and medium voltage motors and VFDs, UPS, Power Apparatus and Components and related services. Prior experience with Industrial Electric Products is preferred. This combined with 4 years of outside sales to the end user is most desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers, schedule appointments and make sales calls
- Organize and attend joint calls with vendors
- Make group presentations / Attend tradeshows
- Facilitate/Conduct training
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Visiting customer locations in person.
- Travelling as required to visit customers. (Up to 60% travel)_
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Create sales material to present to customers
- Monitor market conditions/competitors/technology
- Lead Generation; Account Management; Territory Development
- Continually reach and exceed agreed upon sales targets and due dates
Experience:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Minimum 4 years outside sales experience
- Knowledge/Experience with electric motors, controls and/or VFD's
